A New Day Has Come.....
I haven't posted in a long long time..... A lot has happened. We had a beautiful, feisty fox terrier and she was with us for a good 6 months until our maids left the back door open and she sprinted off! We couldn't locate her. It's not the first time she's done a runner, but this time, my guess is someone decided to keep her... I was devastated! We put up posters, spoke to neighbours if they'd seen her and scoured the street of our house to the beach everyday for the next 4 days, hoping against hope to find her. She's lost to us ow... I hope she's in a good home today. She's been a great girl and an intelligent dog... but didn't know she's a flight-risk...
Buffy, my beloved dog...
With her loss, Bindi (my adorable and ever reliable Lab), and I missed Buffy. Bindi has no one to spar with her and she's been very quiet. I struggled with my emotions as to whether even thinking of getting another dog would betray my feelings for Buffy. I certainly was still hoping that she'll show up at our front door (wishful thinking but a desperate wish).
We finally decided we need to have another pup, not to replace Buffy, but to fill the emptiness. I'm glad I made the choice. We found an adorable 3 month old yorkie from a home breeder. Went to look at her and fell in love instantly. I just couldn't wait to bring her home. But of course she would need to be transported from Jakarta to Bali. I waited and hoped she will arrive healthy since she's this tiny dot. And boy, did she arrive! Very early in the morning! She's mighty fine and energetic and bouncing!
We named her Butty (as in sandwich in how Yorshires call it). I am not the sort to dress my pets, but with her, she just screamed "dress me!". I've been sewing her outfit since....trial and error and with a little help from missdaisydesigns.
Some pics of my little muse....
The reason she's my muse!
Looking straight at me!
My very first trial and error creation!
